All the geese are free range and graze in large grass paddocks, being shut in at night for their own protection. Their diet consists of grass, wheat and a specially prepared feed containing no additives or growth promoters. These factors help to produce a goose with a lovely yellow skin, as opposed to the whiteness of the intensively reared bird. Christmas Geese will be despatched on Wednesday 19th December for delivery on Thursday 20th December 2007.
Geese (Christmas Only) The average weight per Goose is 4.54 - 5.44 kilos (10 - 12 lbs) and the price is £68.00 per bird (prices inclusive of carriage).
	Our turkeys are fed on wheat and the same natural formula feed as the chickens. Judging by our customer reaction and the amount of repeat orders, we really do believe we produce a bird that has no equal. Bronze turkeys are a game bird and therefore require hanging to bring out the maximum flavour. We find that 10 days brings out a flavour and texture to suit most of our customers. However, if you would like a longer or shorter hanging time, please let us know.
Whilst every effort will be made to provide you with the size of bird you require, please bear in mind that we are not a supermarket with unlimited stocks so please contact us to check availability. Also, that the birds are free range and at liberty to choose their preferred diet, but over the years we have found that the birds have grown to the expected weights.
